Instadose® is a sophisticated radiation monitoring platform that offers a streamlined approach to administration, cost reduction, and improved staff safety by mitigating the risk of radiation exposure. With Instadose®, instant dose readings can be captured through internet-enabled computers or smart devices.

The Instadose® Companion mobile app allows for seamless wireless communication and secure transmission of accumulated dose data from Instadose®+ and Instadose®2 digital dosimeters to Mirion servers. This secure process ensures that dose information is safely archived as the wearer's official dose record. Automatic dose readings are performed according to a pre-set calendar determined by the account administrator, while manual readings can be taken instantly by pressing the button on the back of the dosimeter for 4 seconds.

For successful transmission, the dosimeter must be within range of the mobile device with the Instadose app activated, and the main screen should display "searching for devices." Once transmission is successful, dose results, historical data, and wearer/dosimeter information can be immediately viewed on the app. Access to this information is limited to the individual wearer or authorized administrators.
